La llegada de la pandemia nos ha hecho reflexionar sobre el aprecio de la vida en comunidad, la importancia de las relaciones humanas y el entorno en que ellas se dan. El COVID-19 llegó, ha cambiado la forma de relacionarse y prueba de ello es la organización de este congreso virtual. Estos tiempos nos ha dado la posibilidad de valorizar lo que somos y lo que hacemos; nos invita a reflexionar sobre los modos en cómo seguiremos desarrollando nuestras áreas de investigación científica y cómo nosotros mismos seguiremos construyendo nuestras vidas. Bajo este nuevo contexto, la convivencia científica no puede dejar de existir y muy por el contrario hay un llamado a fortalecerla. Por estos motivos, en esta reunión nos hemos propuesto construir y vigorizar los lazos que nos unen en el área de investigación que nos apasiona. Bienvenidos y que disfruten nuestra Reunión Anual XXXI.
The pandemic onset has made us ponder the value of life as a community, as well as how we interrelate between each other, and our surroundings. In due process, defying our entire social construct. As a result, many aspects of our activities have been affected. Proof of this is the fact that our annual summit has moved into a virtual platform. It is in the very essence of every big crisis to challenge us to look for fresh methods to face life in general. From everyday errands, to how to solve the difficulties arising in our scientific labours, both in short- and in long-term. It goes without saying, that our scientific endeavours not only have to keep going, but have to be strengthen, as well as our science conferences to ensure scientific exchange and development. Accordingly, in this version of our summit, we are set to build new-, and strengthen existing- relationships to appeal for a fast and sustained growth of our research field. Welcome to the XXXI version of our Annual Summit, we sincerely hope we all share a great time.
