The Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology at Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic, invites applications for fully funded postdoctoral positions in multidisciplinary biomedical research.
Research Focus: Join an international research team led by Professor Frantisek Staud, Ph.D., specializing in prenatal development with a primary focus on the impact of pharmacotherapy and pregnancy pathologies on placental functions. Research areas include reproductive biology, placental pharmacology, physiology, and biochemistry.
Candidate Profile:
•Ph.D. in pharmacology, toxicology, biochemistry, physiology, or related fields.
•Demonstrated commitment to pursuing an independent research career.
•Experience in biomedical research, preferably in Reproductive Sciences, evidenced by a strong publication record.
•Motivated, diligent, thorough, and responsible approach to research.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
•Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
•Proficiency in ex vivo, in vitro, and in vivo techniques (e.g., molecular and cellular biology, RT-PCR, ddPCR, western blot, immunohistochemistry, fluorescence/confocal microscopy, live cell imaging, animal and human models).
•Strong background in statistical analysis methods.
